Creativity for All: Adobe Resources for Students

Adobe is the market leader of creative technology, and they have many resources for professionals and educators. But if you're a student or novice creator, it can be overwhelming to get started. We've compiled Adobe's resources for students, so you can see it all in one place. Ready to dive in? 

Gen Create is a digital space where young creators, thinkers, and makers can connect, collaborate, and share their work. Participants can post their original creations on Instagram with a description in the caption explaining how they use creativity to shape their world with the hashtag #AdobeGenCreate. Participants and their posts may get featured in the gallery on Adobe’s social channels and even become the subject of a story.

The Adobe Creativity Scholarships program provides college and post-secondary education tuition to students who are pursuing a career in the creative industry and are using creativity to initiate positive social changes. Recipients can be eligible for up to $25,000 USD per academic year.

Learn from the experrts! The Design Circle is a collaboration of design leaders working together to drive positive impact on business, society, innovation, and design careers. This group provides insights, content, and advocacy, which are featured in the Design Circle website and at various community events. As part of the program, they also offer annual college scholarships to students who are pursuing product design or other related careers. The scholarships focus on students who have been historically underrepresented in design, including first-generation college students, racial and ethnic miniorty students, and students with disabilities.

Sundance Ignite identifies and supports rising filmmakers and fosters fresh audiences for independent storytelling. Established in 2015 with founding support from Adobe, the program offers students of ages between 18 and 25 the following opportunities.

  • Ignite Ticket Package: an exclusive chance to see the newest films at the Sundance Film Festival
  • Sundance Ignite x Adobe Fellowship Program: a competitive and year-round artist-development program supporting emerging filmmakers with a year of mentorship and program opportunities
  • Sundance Ignite traveling programs

Share your work with others! Behance is an online platform where student can showcase and discover new creative work. Behance members can follow and be followed by other members.
