The American Council on Education (ACE)

The American Council on Education (ACE) is the USA's unifying voice for higher education. ACE serves as a consensus leader on key higher education issues and seeks to influence public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives. The Microsoft Office Specialist Word, PowerPoint and Excel certifications have earned an ACE credit recommendation for college education in computer applications. From this, students can seek credit from more than 1,800 accredited, degree-granting colleges, universities, and other education-related organizations that are members of ACE.

Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (Austria)

The Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research has endorsed and recognized Microsoft Office Specialist, making them the first choice for secondary schools in Austria. These certifications will also feature as part of teacher education in the future.

Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (Australia)

Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) has recognized the Microsoft Office Specialist certifications as contributing studies for the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (Czechia)

As part of an initiative to improve digital competence education in the Czech Republic, the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports has recognized the Microsoft Office Specialist program as international digital competence certificates that quality as part of the school leaving exam.  
 

Ministry of Education (Egypt)

The Ministry of Education in Egypt has endorsed Microsoft programs for teacher’s skills development since 2007.  On an annual basis more than 10,000 teachers are trained and certified on Microsoft Office Specialist. This number has grown to reach 24,000 candidates per year since 2018.
 

French Ministry of Education (France)

As part of its efforts to support lifelong learning, the French Ministry of Education has recognized Microsoft Office Speciailst on its national qualifications framework. The national commission on vocational qualifications (Commission Nationale de la Certification Professionnelle) lists Microsoft Office Specialist as an approved program in their registry of qualifications, making them eligible for state funding.
 

National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance (Greece)

Microsoft Office Specialist is a recognized IT certificate by the Greek State, through the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance of the Ministry of Education. In order for a candidate to be employed in the Greek Public Sector, she/he must hold a recognized IT certificate. A Microsoft Office Specialist is a valid qualification for employability in the Greek Public Sector.

Irish National Qualifications Authority (Ireland)

Microsoft Office Specialist is recognized by the Irish National Qualifications Authority (Quality and Qualifications Ireland, QQI) and approved as corresponding to the following NFQ Level 5 Component Specifications of the National Framework of Qualifications: Spreadsheet Methods, Digital Presentations, Word Processing and Databases Methods.
 

Agence Nationale du Service Universel des Telecommunications –TIC (Ivory Coast)

The Agence Nationale du Service Universel des Telecommunications –TIC, an entity of the Ministry of the Digital Economy and the Post, with a mission to provide citizens, businesses and administrations with a universal telecommunications service and contribute to the development of a digital economy in Côte d'Ivoire, launched in 2018, a One Student-One Laptop-One Microsoft Office Specialist certification project. To date more than 8,000 students have benefitted from this project.
 

National Council for Labor Competency Certifications and Standards (Mexico)

National Council for Labor Competency Certifications and Standards (CONOCER): The Federal agency responsible for coordinating Mexico's National Competencies Framework - has endorsed Microsoft Office Specialist certification and recognized them in the National Registry of Competency Standards (RENEC) making them one of the options required for students to graduate. 

Office National de Formation Professionnelle et Promotion de Travail (Morocco)

Since 2012 the Office National de Formation Professionnelle et Promotion de Travail , the governmental agency responsible for vocational education and training in Morocco has adopted Microsoft Office Specialist certification for their students in more than 40 CATCs across the country  

Ministry of Education (Morocco)

The Ministry of Education in Morocco, has endorsed the Microsoft Office Specialist certifications aiming to train and certify more than 300,000 teachers, so far more than half have been certified

New Zealand Qualifications Authority (New Zealand)

New Zealand Qualifications Authority, a body reporting to the Ministry of Education, has recognized the Microsoft Office Specialist program and granted credit inclusion for the National Certificate of Educational Achievement at Level 2 (up to 12 credit equivalents) and Level 3 ( up to 25 credit equivalents).  
 

Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators

The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators has been formally endorsed the Microsoft Office Specialist, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified Educator. The Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators is a premier professional organization dedicated to the advancement of information technology education in the Philippines.

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (Saudi Arabia)

The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), the governmental agency responsible for vocational education and training in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has accredited Microsoft Office Specialist for use in any VET centre in the country.  

Human Resources Development Fund (Saudi Arabia)

Human Resources Development Fund: Microsoft Office Specialist is approved as part of the Professional Certificates Support Program of the HRDF, a government body under the Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development. This program aims to empower the national manpower to gain approved professional certificates in miscellaneous career areas required by the Saudi labor market.  HRDF reimburses nationals who passed the exam the entire cost of the training and the certification. 

State Public Employment Service (Spain)

The State Public Employment Service (SEPE) in Spain has recognized and accredited Microsoft Office Specialist and included it in their portfolio of approved courses for ICT as part of their mission to increase employment levels and ensure the human capital capacity of companies in Spain.
 

Ministry of Education (Taiwan)

Ministry of Education of Taiwan recognizes international certification programs of JVIDÊÓƵ. As result of recognition from the Ministry of Education in Taiwan, JVIDÊÓƵ’s Microsoft Office Specialist program is part of the options required for university students to graduate.

The Digital Economy Promotion Agency (DEPA) has recognized the Microsoft Office Specialist certification as an essential tool for enhancing IT skills among students and the workforce. As a government agency under the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, DEPA focuses on advancing Thailand's digital industry and fostering innovation.

The Agence Tunisienne de la Formation Professionelle (Tunisia)

The Agence Tunisienne de la Formation Professionelle, the governmental agency for vocational education and training in Tunisia is using Microsoft Office Specialist to assess their students’ level in mastering the Office suite. ATFP students participate in the Microsoft Office Specialist championship. 
 

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Tunisia)

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Tunisia committed to train and certify more than 22,000 students per year on Microsoft technology including the Microsoft Office Specialist certifications. 

Ho Chi Minh Department of Education (Vietnam)

Ho Chi Minh Department of Education recognizes: The Microsoft Office Specialist Word and PowerPoint certifications as the IT standard for 10th graders, The Microsoft Office Specialist Excel certification as the IT Standard for 11th Graders, the Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint certification as the IT Standard for general Teachers at primary and lower secondary levels, professional secondary schools and professional colleges. Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint, Word, and Excel are the IT Standards for IT Teachers at high school. The Microsoft Office Specialist program is also recognized for 11th graders and certification holders are exempt from the IT Vocational programme.
